DEINOVE then developed a first-rank metabolic \u2013 genetic (synthetic biology) and fermentation \u2013 engineering platform.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4684\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toulouse-white-biotechnology.com\/app\/uploads\/2016\/03\/capture-decran-2016-03-30-a-22.21.48-300x200-2.png\" alt=\"Capture d\u2019\u00e9cran 2016-03-30 \u00e0 22.21.48\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\"><\/figure>\n\n<p>DEINOVE has collected about<\/p>\n\n<strong>6 000 strains of this genus or of a related\u00a0genus<\/strong>\n\n<p>, and the second part of its activity developed more recenty consists in exploiting the biodiversity of its strain library for<\/p>\n\n<strong> specialty applications<\/strong>\n\n<p>: producing high value-added\u00a0compounds such as carotenoids, proteins, lipids, etc. which form part of the composition of cosmetic products, nutraceuticals, or food additives for animal nutrition.\r\n\r\nDEINOVE works<\/p>\n\n<strong>together with partners to industrialize its processes<\/strong>\n\n<p>: biomass producers, biofuel producers, chemistry groups, manufacturers of application markets, etc. The Company is in particular engaged in research collaborations with two French partners: Avril to develop a process for producing natural additives for animal feed; Suez Environnement for recovering urban waste that is then recycled into biofuel.
