{"id":4660,"date":"2018-03-21T16:52:04","date_gmt":"2018-03-21T15:52:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.toulouse-white-biotechnology.com\/insights\/actualites\/actualite\/partners-2018-president\/"},"modified":"2026-03-16T14:27:57","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T13:27:57","slug":"partners-2018-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.toulouse-white-biotechnology.com\/en\/insights\/blog\/partners-2018-president\/","title":{"rendered":"New Partners 2018 &#038; New President"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"st\">During the meeting of its Strategic Steering Committee (SSC) on 15 &amp; 16 March, 2018, TWB welcomed <strong>3 new industrial partners<\/strong> who joined the consortium on 1 January of the year: <\/span><strong>BRASKEM, IFPEN, MILLIDROP.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.toulouse-white-biotechnology.com\/app\/uploads\/2018\/03\/partenairespresident-twb-2018-1-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7238 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toulouse-white-biotechnology.com\/app\/uploads\/2018\/03\/partenairespresident-twb-2018-1024x683-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"454\"><\/a>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/dev11.hbst.fr\/www.toulouse-white-biotechnology.com\/en\/partners\/\">consortium<\/a> is now composed of <strong>46 private and public partners <\/strong>(8 large companies, 1 mid-cap company, 8 small and medium companies, 13 very small companies, 7 investors and valorisation structures, 9 public partners). The companies operate in different fields: Agro-industry \/ Chemicals (materials and products) \/ Equipment \/ Biotechnology solutions \/ Flavors and Cosmetics \/ Energy and Pharmacy.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The new President as well as the Vice-Presidents were elected<\/strong> for a three-year term:\r\nJean-Claude Lumaret (Carbios), President\r\nMonique Axelos (INRA), Vice-President\r\nNicolas Seeboth (Michelin), Vice-President.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the SSC meeting, the partners chose the research projects (<a href=\"https:\/\/dev11.hbst.fr\/www.toulouse-white-biotechnology.com\/en\/products-services\/r-d-projects\/\">pre-competitive projects<\/a>) which will be self-financed by TWB in 2018. <strong>4 projects were selected <\/strong>among the 10 submitted following the call for projects.
