CITRUS European project
TWB is a partner of the European H2020 project called IPM-4-CITRUS, for “Integrated Pest Management for Citrus”, which was launched on 27 April 2017 at INSA Toulouse. The project, with a total budget of €0.8 M for a period of four years, is led by the
LISBPvia INSA Toulouse. The aim of the IPM-4-Citrus project is to
develop a new biopesticide, based on toxins of Bacillus thuringiensis, active against citrus pests, and to carry out its transfer from the laboratory to the economic market. The project relies on reinforced collaborations between industrial and academic partners based in 3 European member states (France, Germany, Italy), 2 partner countries (Turkey, Tunisia) and 1 third party country (Lebanon).
TWB will be involved in the optimisation stage of the microbial toxin production and then in the search for economic partners for the last phase of the project and its transfer to the industrial market.
