Collaboration with Tunisia
In May 2016, via the Embassy of France in Tunisia,
a Tunisian delegation led by Mr. Abdellatif Boudabous, President of the National Assessment of Scientific Research Activities Committee (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research) came at TWB to learn about the scheme and study opportunities for collaboration.
Tunisia has several biotechnology centres(Sfax, Hammam-Lif, Sidi Thabet) which could promote their research works with a similar structure to TWB. In early November 2016, Pierre Monsan and Michel Manach attended the Scientific Committee of the Biotechnology Centre of Sfax, in the presence of Mr. Khalil Amiri, Secretary of State for Scientific Research (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research).
A collaborative project as part of the European programme Horizon 2020 (“Teaming” call for tender) has just been submitted.
