Hosting MicroPep Technologies

TWB offers the possibility to host private R&D teams on its premises in order to provide them with both the equipment of its technical platforms and its scientific environment. Within this framework, a new start-up,

MicroPep Technologies

, moved into the premises in mid-March 2017. The company, a spin-off from the LRSV (Plant Research laboratory – Toulouse) and SATT Toulouse Tech Transfer, develops “personalized treatments” for plants in order to

replace the chemical pesticides and fertilizers most widely used in agriculture

. It relies for this on a

new technology using small peptides naturally produced by plants

that can temporarily regulate the expression of their genes, without any DNA modification (non-GMO). MicroPep joined the TWB consortium in January 2017. MicroPep Contact:
