New pre-competitive projects 2017
Twelve new « pre-competitive » research projects were presented by the leading researchers on the subjects at TWB’s Strategic Steering Committee meeting on 10 March 2017. The
four projects retainedfor the 2017 round are:
- CUSTOZYME – Innovative Software for Rapid, Cost-Effective and Reliable Design of Proteins (LISBP, MIAT INRA, LAAS CNRS) – Companies in the steering committee: Adisseo, Carbios, Deinove, Metex, Proteus, Sofinnova, Roquette, Tereos, Total
- RoCOCo – The Reverse tricarboxylic acid cycle (rTCA), a promising and flexible biological CO2 Capture pathway (BIP CNRS, MetaToul LISBP) – Companies in the steering committee: CIMV, EnobraQ, L’Oréal, La Région, Metex, Michelin, Sofinnova, Total
- TBOX4SYNCELL – Development of a toolbox for the high-throughput construction of synthetic Bacillus subtilis derived chassis strains for industrial biotechnology (MICALIS INRA, BFP INRA, TWB) – Companies in the steering committee: Adisseo, Carbios, L’Oréal, Metex
- DROOPY – New analytical tool for screening polymer synthesis and degradation by droplet evaporation and coffee ring effect (BIA INRA, LISBP) – Companies in the steering committee: Adisseo, Carbios, CIMV, Total.
