SuperBIO Workshops

TWB is partner of the European project “SuperBIO” that aims to create new, cross-border and cross-sectorial industrial value chains in bioeconomy.

SuperBIO is a support facility for the development and implementation of innovative projects in the field of value chains, involving start-ups and SMEs. Ten innovation servives are offered to SMEs by SuperBIO experts (from proof-of-concept to business model). The project, led by Ghent Bio-Economy Valley (GBEV), brings together technical partners and European clusters such as TWB, the CTA of Andalusia, or Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant.

Two workshops are organized in September, 2016:

• Valorization of residues from intensive horticulture: A business opportunity for bio-based industries Seville University, Seville, Spain, 12^th of September, 2016 This 1^st thematic SuperBIO workshop takes place in Seville (Spain) the 12^th of September 2016. The workshop offers the opportunity to inform you on the opportunities of the SuperBIO project for SMEs, and the potential of horticultural residues in the bio-based economy. The workshop is organized the day before the SUSCHEM brokerage event in Seville. Participation for both events is free of charge. Click here for more information and registration.

• Innovation in packaging through bio-based solutions Brussels Expo, Brussels, Belgium, 22^nd of September, 2016 SuperBIO organizes a workshop on bio-based packaging in conjunction with the Empack Trade Fair. This workshop consists of a seminar with 11 presentations (Novamont (IT), TetraPack (BE), Oerlemans Plastics (NL), Sidaplax (BE), OWS (BE), among others) and a debate, and a bio-based plaza for thematic networking purposes and B2B meetings with SuperBIO partners and bio-based companies.
