Fermentation Platform

TWB’s fermentation platform provides a fleet of instrumented bioreactors dedicated to the development, optimization, and scale-up of biotechnological processes, from screening at the mL scale through to the pre-pilot stage (300 L in collaboration with CRITT Bio-Industries).
Performance
and Innovation
The integration of online and offline analytical systems enables detailed, multiparametric characterization of the liquid, solid, and gaseous phases.
This approach provides dynamic monitoring of cultures and facilitates the study, understanding, and optimization of fermentations based on enzymatic or microbial processes.

Scaling down processes using miniaturized, parallelizable, and robust devices makes it possible to:
- to speed up experimental cycles,
- to significantly increase the analysis throughput,
- to ensure the safety of critical stages in process development.
This integrated organization serves as a strategic tool for reducing technical risks during the scale-up phases and improving the predictability of performance at a larger scale.
