EUSynBioS Symposium 2018 in Toulouse, France

The 3rd edition of the EUSynBioS symposium will be held in Toulouse on 22 and 23 October 2018 on the campus of INSA (National Institute of Applied Sciences, University of Toulouse, France).

The EUSynBioS is an european association of doctoral and post-doctoral students founded in 2014. Each year a symposium welcomes a community of young researchers active in the field of synthetic biology from all over Europe.

The 2018 edition will focus on the establishment of a circular bioeconomy with the help of synthetic biology, or how synthetic biology can provide biobased products and processes.

We have the pleasure to announce that Prof. Pierre Monsan, director of TWB, and Prof. Jean Marie François (TWB-INSA) will open this symposium. The renowned speakers such as Prof. Sven Panke (ETH Zurich) and Dr. Lorie Hamelin (Aarhus University), laureate of the government call ‘make our planet great again’, will participate in the event.

Workshops in small groups, highly appreciated, will be organized around transversal skills such as scientific communication or the career development in academia and industry.

Oral presentations and posters of young researchers will enrich the discussion. The registration and submission of abstracts is still open until September 22nd: register here
